Meet Jesse Happ
I am a full-time equipment operator for a Central Illinois municipality and a part-time knifemaker. I also work on our family farm.
For 25 years, I think I used a knife on a daily basis. Whether I needed to open a box, slice open a bale or process game, my knife was an important tool. But a knife is different from other tools because it’s personal. It needs to be an extension of our hand to be used correctly, efficiently and safely.
That’s where the inspiration for the Nekoti came from. It’s designed to be adaptable and useful, but also durable and light. I hope you love your Nekoti as much as I love creating them.
My love of making knives comes from my love of spending time outdoors. No matter if I’m on the farm, hiking with my wife or hunting, I’ll always have a sharp, dependable knife with me.
My goal is to provide a high-quality knife that can is useful enough to be carried every day and also strong enough to be passed down to the next generation.
Every knife has a story of its own, what will yours tell?
